Expanded Heart Chakra

Lately, I have felt my heart kind of cramping up.  Often,  as we get older, we do start to close up and are not as open as we were when we were younger.

I started to exercise my heart in this way-

Begin to breathe from your heart- take a few deep breaths.  Then let your breathing settle into a nice rhythm, taking in oxygen through your heart and letting it go naturally- freshening the heart area til it flows easily-

As you do this, picture a light emanating from your heart expanding and contracting with your breathing.

As you continue to breathe, expand the light.

Let it encompass, from your heart, up to your throat and down to your solar plexus-

Then expand on the next breaths up to your forehead and down to your belly.

Let the light include all sides of your body, in a spherical or oval shape.

As you do this, any "slings and arrows" will fall out of your aura- the light will push them out.

Now expand on the inhale to the top of your head and down to the base of your spine.

Breath again and expand the light from your knees to above your head, then from below your feet to above our head.

Notice any colors or the texture of your aura now.

As you feel this expanded heart chakra, you may , if you are inclined, join your heart's light to the heart of any religious figure you feel an affinity for-

Rest here-

Does this Being have a message for you?

You may get a word, a feeling, or a whole treatise, you never know

Listen- and rest-

When you are complete, thank this Being for His/Her presence-

Now breathe your aura in slightly,  feeling your feet and hands, the top of your head.  Then let the light settle once again naturally into your heart, breathing easily, relaxed and ready to continue with your day.

In using the expanded heart energy, I find myself sending energy and love to those in my past.  Maybe they can feel it and it can help heal.  And of course to those in my present day life.

If I am outside, I send it to a bird, a tree, the wind- it is surprising how often you get some kind of a response. Blessings to you-

From your heart to the stars

Do you feel burdened?  It is a physical and mental sensation.  Begin to breathe and see your burdens contained in brown boxes.  Lift these boxes out of your immediate area.
This takes alot of work---there are so many!-----Keep on workin'-------------------------

There.  Now picture these boxes on the edge of a cliff and begin to kick them over
(Don't worry-  they will biodegrade!)   Kick and kick and kick some more until they have tumbled over the precipice into nothing.

Now come back and relax after all your effort.  Begin to breathe,  let your heart rate slow,

Slower now, quieter, til you can feel your heart beat as slow and regular.

Visualize your heart and the liquid- filled sac around your heart that cushions it.  Notice any dark spots.  Release these darker areas and fill the pericardium and your heart with the purest, finest light you can imagine.

Feel your heart as strong with all the arteries flowing clear, sending the sparkling light throughout your body like a million tiny stars running through your bloodstream-

Rest here awhile, feeling lighter, feeling healed.  Just for right now, no one wants anything from you.  For right now, you don't want anything from anyone else.  You are just here, floating, resting, relaxing,  the light running through your body.

Focusing once again on your heart area, feel your heart join with a heart of higher consciousness, the heart of all that  is.

Begin to spiral out now into the stars, into the solar systems and farther still into the space between the galaxies.  Observe the movement of energy on this level, wonder at the vastness of the patterns, be aware of the consciousness within all of life.  Be here awhile.


And now begin to spiral back, slowly rotating with the stars, back to this galaxy, this system, spiralling back to your own heart that holds all within it, aligned with the greater pattern.  Back to the being that is you right now, grateful to be part of it all.

 Awake, refreshed and at peace for this moment in your day.

Violet flame

Feeling kind of funky?  Try this meditation-

Sit or lie down comfortably.  Breathe.   As you do, realize you haven't been breathing very deeply.

Sometimes we get so caught up in our heads we don't inhabit our bodies-  we are unaware of how much tension we are holding.

Breathe again very deeply and let go of some of your tension.  Breathe again and slow down,  in your body, in your mind.  Take a few moments to check in with yourself.
Stay with this awhile, just breathing.

Some of what we have stored in our body and aura is stuck energy- our own and energy that other people have thrown our way.  Sometimes, in order to feel good again, we need to clear this energy. 

I use a violet flame for this kind of clearing.

Starting below your feet, begin to imagine a huge violet flame.  Change your aura's light to violet and visualize yourself as a violet flame from below your feet to above your head.

This flame is not hot,  it is cool.  It flickers and crackles in energy waves.

Let the flame consume and transmute any negative energy that has gotten stuck in your aura.

Feel it purifying your energy field.  Let it work for as long as it needs-  no effort.  You will know when you start to feel better.


The violet changes to white-violet.  The air around you begins to change.  It is like the air
after a lightening storm--

Cleansed, refreshed and charged with positive energy.

You can breathe more freely now.  You have space.

The air is exciting, clean and new.  You have given yourself a healthy new start in body,mind and Spirit.

If you wish, expand the violet flame to include the space you are in right now-  home, office , where ever.  Any energy leftover from old disagreements, etc, will be dissipated. You will have a "clean"  house or workspace, too.

Whew! What a relief!
